Year 5 and 6 pupils at Staple Hill Primary once again had the pleasure of hosting a fantastic book event! We were joined by Rik Worth and Jordan Colliver, the author and illustrator of the Pets Tell Tales series, who came to share their brand-new book all about Ancient Egypt.

During the session, they showed us how to create our own comic strips and take inspiration from history to bring characters and stories to life. Afterwards, pupils had the exciting opportunity to get their books signed and chat with the creators themselves.

A huge thank you to Rik and Jordan for inspiring our young writers and illustrators and to Max Minerva’s Bookshop for helping to organise such a brilliant event
